Realest OG!! Jay Z Apologises for Cheating on Beyonce in New Album

In his latest released album, popular American rapper, Jay Z has publicly apologised to his wife for cheating on her.  Rapper Jay Z let his music do the talking with his new album “4:44” on Friday as he addressed cheating on his wife Beyonce, the birth of his twins and this year’s Oscars best picture.  In the title track, Jay Z admitted in his lyrics that he “often womanize”, more than a year after R&B star Beyonce first shed light on his infidelities in her album “Lemonade”.  Jay Z pens a remorseful ode to his fractured marriage in “4:44”, rapping that it “took for my child to be born, see through a woman’s eyes” in reference to the couple’s daughter Blue Ivy.  He also mentioned their twins, who were reported to have been born this month but whose arrival has yet to be officially confirmed, saying it “took for these natural twins to believe in miracles, took me too long for this song, I don’t deserve you”.  Jay Z added: “What good is a menage a trois when you have a soul mate? You risked that for Blue? … my heart breaks for the day I had to explain my mistakes.”  Fans were left stunned last year when Beyonce made accusations in “Lemonade” that Jay Z had cheated on her, a rare crack in the seemingly perfect facade of one of music’s highest-profile couples.  In her song “Sorry”, Beyonce referred to a mystery woman, calling her “Becky with the good hair”, which is echoed in Jay Z’s track “Family Feud”, a duet with Beyonce in which he raps “Let me alone Becky”.  “4:44” was released exclusively on premium music streaming platform Tidal, founded by Jay Z, in partnership with U.S. wireless carrier Sprint Corp, which purchased a 33 percent stake in Tidal this year and made the album available via a six-month Tidal subscription to Sprint mobile customers.  It can also be heard throughout Friday across 160 U.S. radio stations on iHeartRadio, the digital music service for a network of traditional radio stations.  The 35-minute album features Blue Ivy on the track “Legacy”, in which the five-year-old asks “Daddy, what’s a will?” as the rapper expresses hope that his children use their wealth to promote “black excellence”.  In “Moonlight”, Jay Z tackles the impact of the film “La La Land” being named best picture at this year’s Oscars while in “The Story of O.J.”, the rapper explores black identity in America.  -Reuters

Credit Card Theft: Dammy Krane Was Implicated – 2baba

Few weeks back, singer Dammy Krane was arrested for credit card/identity theft, a case which saw him being locked up, bailed and now slammed with 7 felony charges with new information emerging that 7 different credit cards were found in his pocket upon his arrest.
The AMIN singer and a couple of other celebrities, have however come out with poorly written speeches debunking the claim, stating he Dammy isn’t guilty, adding that the guy, he was arrested alongside, stole the cards.
A somewhat alarming twist cropped up few hours ago when Iconic singer 2baba,  weighed in on the credit card theft issue, stating categorically that Dammy’s arrest, can be tagged as a mere case of ”implication.”
Speaking glowingly about his ex-act, 2baba, said the entire issue happened due to Dammy associating with the wrong set of people.

This Is What Really Happened – Dammy Krane’s Aunt Opens Up On His Arrest

The Dammy Krane Identity theft/ arrest story, is getting bigger by the hour as his aunt, has now spoken about the issue, disclosing an all new side to the story.
Recall, the AMIN crooner, was arrested 2 days back on charges of fraud/identity theft, charges he has somehow managed to deny even as the private jet company where the stolen fund was exhausted, has come out to say the contrary.
Dammy Krane’s aunt spoke with Sunday Scoop on the issue at hand saying she also found out about his arrest online, adding that her nephew did not steal the funds.
“We don’t stay in the same state over here but Dammy came to visit me just last week. I got the news of his detention on the Internet just like everybody else.
After making some calls, I was able to confirm that he was indeed arrested. He has been in the US for some time now and he has regularly been booked for shows all across America.
The guy he was arrested with had actually booked him for a show this weekend in Miami. And he (Chukwuebuka) was the one that paid for the jet and made hotel reservations with the stolen card details.”
“You know it is a usual thing for show promoters to book flight tickets for artistes, so one cannot blame Dammy in this situation. A lawyer has already been contacted but unfortunately, Dammy would have to stay in jail till Monday when they would be able to go to court to perfect bail conditions.”
Dammy Krane was arrested alongside a certain Chukwuebuka Gabriel Ilonchowu

Music Career Advice:- 5 Ways To Promote Your Music On Social Media Without Annoying People

http://shadowsrecords.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/promo.jpg
Social media is an essential tool for musicians, and it’s often the starting point for new artists.
It’s not a replacement for your own website, you can give fans easy access to your bio, tour dates, music, photos, videos, and contact info. With more modern platforms like Instagram and Tumblr taking off, it’s in your best interest to form a presence across the board.
Many musicians have extreme talent but don’t understand how to properly communicate with their fans via social media.
All of us have liked an artist before because we enjoyed the music, only to later unlike after a ridiculous influx of annoying, overly promotional, one-directional content. Here are five ways to promote your music on social media without annoying your followers.
1. Make it interactive
Social media is a terrific platform to interact with your fans. A new popular method of engagement is asking your followers to interpret your music and inviting them into the creative process.
A great example of this was when Sigur Ros released their album Kveikur. For the song “Stormur,” they asked their fans to upload homemade videos to Instagram with the hashtag #stormur.
The result is a website with a continuously evolving music video of fan-created content. A method like this empowers your fans creatively, and it makes them feel involved with the music, rather than being solely a consumer. Other examples could be fans submitting artwork for your next single, or if the music is instrumental, submitting poetry to go along with the release.
2. Speak with genuine excitement
This sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many bands don’t speak with genuine excitement. They speak with an apathetic tone (and grammar), such as, “heres our new single. hope u like it.” On the other hand, some speak with too much excitement, like, “OUR NEW SINGLE IS OUT NOW!!!!! SHARE IT WITH ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!!!!!!” There’s a sweet spot in the middle, but again, it should be genuine. You wrote a song, recorded it, and should be thrilled to share it.
So communicate that in a post. “We’re so excited to share with you our new single, “XYZ.” This track is personal because [insert reasons here]. You can download it below! Let us know what you think.” You don’t need to write a novel on why it’s personal or why you’re excited, but your fans will be receptive if you speak from the heart with authentic passion.
3. Offer an incentive
Incentives are a great way to engage your fans via social media. Several artists will use the “free download if you like our Facebook page” incentive, which has its benefits.
Another incentive could be making a campaign about your new album and offering a free download to the first 25 people to like a picture you took of the test-pressing process. Up-and-coming Paris producer Stwo does a great job with this.
Recently, he’s been providing the stems to his tracks via Facebook for his fans to download and remix. The incentive is that he’ll upload the one he likes best to his SoundCloud, giving them a huge amount of exposure. It’s important to be sure your incentive is realistic. You should budget what it’ll cost you, and plan for the risks you might take in giving things away.
4. Post in moderation
One of the most annoying things a band can do is drown their followers in content. It seems like every day we’re getting an event invite from the same person or seeing the same music video posted over and over and over by some budding musician. Don’t drown your followers in content they really don’t need in their newsfeeds.
On the other hand, don’t fall silent! You don’t want your fans to forget about you. Try to be active in your branding by sharing positive, engaging content.
Here are some loose posting guidelines to follow (which, of course, you should test, analyze, and adjust based on what’s most effective for you):
* Facebook: four to seven times a week
*Twitter: one to four times a day
* Instagram: one to two times a week
* Tumblr: one to four times a week
5. Make it personal
Fans want to see what’s going on behind the scenes and feel like you’re speaking with them personally.
Talk in a conversational manner, post pictures of the band doing average things, such as stopping for a milkshake on the road, or doing something touristy.
Being relatable will resonate with your followers. Would you rather see Sam Smith post a link to buy his new album or a picture of the original handwritten lyrics to your favorite songs, telling you how much they mean to him? If your content is personal and genuine, your followers will feel more connected to you and the meaning behind your music. But don’t take “personal” too literally – we’re not suggesting you bash political candidates or take a stance on contentious social issues. Make it personal and relevant to the music.

I want to write a Novel.

I AM a Writer, First.

‘How I Overcome Battles, Scandals’ – 2face Opens Up

Innocent Ujah Idibia, aka 2face, is known all over the world as a singer. Many of his successful songs have broken records, so it’s not surprising that he is regarded as one of the greatest African music artistes of his time.
Apart from his music prowess, there is one other attribute that stands him out and makes people to speak well of him. That’s his humility!
Despite his superstar status, the African Queen crooner always has a smile on his face. And unlike many other entertainers who may never achieve half of what he has even in 10 lifetimes, 2face always obliges his fans whenever they approach him for pictures, autographs, handshakes and hugs.
Little wonder that despite the scandals he has had in his career, his acceptability has not been affected. He is still one of the most loved artistes on the continent.
Sunday Scoop ran into him recently and he said,
“Humility is not an act or make-believe. It is who I am and what you see is what you get. I don’t need to ‘form’ for anybody. I believe in myself and I believe that anybody who truly likes me would accept me as I am. Anyway, it is even better to be true to yourself because it would save you a lot of headaches.
Sometimes, I read what some people write about me and I feel emotionally touched. Some people are ready to stake whatever they have to defend me; even if they don’t know whether I’m guilty or not. It’s not just about the music but maybe from the interactions they may have had with me. My humility has fought a lot of battles and I will always remain grateful to God and my fans.”
